Specialization in Hermeneutics and Psychoanalysis
The Psychoanalysis and Hermeneutics Specialization
is intended for graduates of a recognized university (accredited by the Council for Higher Education) who hold a master’s degree in mental health professions or therapeutic disciplines. This specialization enables students to integrate the theoretical frameworks taught in the program with therapeutic and psychological perspectives, and is designed to complement the broader curriculum.
The specialization may be pursued within any of the following academic tracks:
the research-track M.A., the non-thesis M.A., the direct-track PhD program, or the regular PhD program.
In addition to the core requirements of each track, the specialization includes:
– Participation in the Psychoanalysis and Hermeneutics Colloquium (in addition to the general departmental colloquium)
– One additional required course:
